The Challenge
The collaboration began in anticipation of a potential CSRD trajectory. But when the legislation was temporarily delayed, Beens Groep didn’t hit pause — they chose to move forward. Without the pressure of mandatory reporting, the focus shifted to building a solid internal foundation.

Like their custom-built hydrogen charging station on a floating pontoon — designed for emission-free construction from the water. Or the Bleekerseiland project, where old wind turbine blades were repurposed into urban furniture.
