After years of working as a freelancer within a collective, Koen seized the opportunity to help build The Overview Effect.
His journey toward sustainability has not been linear. Initially uncertain of his direction, he completed a master’s in Business & IT at the Erasmus University. While his peers joined strategy consultancies and tech giants, Koen felt compelled to seek deeper meaning. His concern about climate change – ironically sparked by extensive travels – led him to start his career in the energy transition sector. Over the decade, his focus has broadened to the broad field sustainability is today. At The Overview Effect, Koen’s mission is to mobilize and empower top sustainability professionals for more impact.

Originally from Switzerland, Olivier now calls the Netherlands home, attracted by its innovative approach to sustainability.
As a co-founder of The Overview Effect, he excels in developing sustainable strategies and calculating carbon footprints, leveraging over eight years of experience in sustainability consulting and ESG software implementation. Olivier’s passion for sustainability was sparked early on by his family’s involvement in car sharing and fair trade during the early ’90s. He now leads The Overview Effect’s Young Professionals program, empowering the next generation to drive impactful change.

With a background at a Big Four accounting firm, Jessica brings extensive expertise in finance and sustainability assurance, supporting companies in compliance and readiness.
Through her collaboration with The Overview Effect, Jessica helps businesses align financial reporting with sustainability goals and navigate assurance complexities. As a lecturer at Erasmus University, she equips professionals to leverage sustainability data for impactful, responsible decisions, amplifying The Overview Effect’s mission of driving data-driven solutions for a sustainable future.

With a talent for bringing clarity to complexity, Jip has a gift for translating sustainability ambitions into actionable strategies. Junior Sustainability Consultant
Motivated by the urgency of climate action, Mark combines a sharp analytical mind with enthusiasm, positivity and a passion for creating meaningful impact.
During his master’s in Global Business & Sustainability at Erasmus University, he wrote his thesis on the CSRD adoption of Dutch Financial Institutions and gained hands-on experience in ESG reporting during an internship at ABN AMRO. As an account manager at AIESEC, he honed his skills in problem-solving, building strong client relationships and fostering collaboration. Beyond his professional pursuits, Mark is a sports enthusiast who enjoys football, calisthenics and running, and he is also interested in foreign languages.
Now part of The Overview Effect’s Young Development Program, Mark is eager to support organizations in reducing their environmental footprint and embracing sustainable transformation.

Fueled by a passion for climate justice, Janne combines analytical expertise with a social and optimistic approach to driving sustainable change. In her work, she empowers organizations to develop impactful ESG strategies, achieve CSRD compliance, and translate data into meaningful action—for example through CO₂ analysis or by working on circular concepts.
Her work is grounded in an interdisciplinary academic foundation, blending social sciences with business administration, complemented by specialized expertise in sustainability.
Beyond her professional role, Janne volunteers as an SDG Voice to inspire others toward the Sustainable Development Goals. She loves vegetarian cooking, board sports such as snowboarding, kitesurfing and skateboarding, exploring new experiences and fostering connections. At The Overview Effect, Janne transforms ambition into action, helping organizations embrace sustainability with purpose and impact.

Fueled by a passion for behavioral science and sustainability, Bodine bridges the gap between strategy and human engagement.
Bodine supports sustainability managers in engaging their workforce using behavioral science-based research and hands-on interventions. She also helps companies achieve B Corp Certification, translating ambitions into actionable impact.
Beyond her role, Bodine is a Climate Fresk facilitator, keynote speaker, and community builder. When she’s not driving sustainability initiatives, you’ll find her kitesurfing or ski touring, constantly seeking new challenges.
